Shane started as a volleyball parent and quickly found a passion for

teaching the game to others. He is excited about joining the UCHS family

this year. Shane will be beginning his fourth year at FCA Volleyball Club,

where he serves as head coach as well as recently named varsity director.

Alongside, Shane brings with him head coaching experience from Carolina

Select Volleyball Club, while also serving on the Board of Directors for two

years. Shane is a member of the AAU and USAV organizations. He is

recognized as both a Gold Medal Squared Certified Coach, as well as a

Double-Goal Coach. Shane uses the principle of positive coaching not only

to teach the game of volleyball but to also teach players life lessons. In

addition, he is IMPACT and SafeSport Program certified.

Shane is looking forward to being a part of the UCHS organization,

focusing not only on developing the volleyball skills of young athletes, but

supporting their social-emotional growth also.
